This one is called 'S'- for Strikes and Sundays

So about three weeks ago we were informed that Tyler, A.J., and Skylee were not able to go to school. A union had decided that they were going to shut down parts of the country as a part of the strike. So for about three weeks they got to lounge around and I got to go to school!!! So it felt like summer vacation-for them.  Today though we found out (to my pleasure) that school is started up again!! Well at least until the end of the school year- the 21st of June.
Now the other 's' Sundays. So on Sunday it was Fast Sunday, with fast Sunday testimony meeting. Skylee, sweet wonderful girl that she is, wanted to bare (is that the write spelling?) her testimony. She went up with one of the translators- she got a bit of stage fright. So my dad went up to help her she didn't get much but she did so well. It got A.J. up as well my dad translated for him, and then my dad did his. A few people latter Tyler got up. He did it without a translator, and very well. Then he says "Sorry, but my sister said she would come up now." In Norwegian so that was very good. But now that meant that I had to get up!! I managed to get through mine about as good as Ty's.
One of the missionaries told my dad that we are about at the level he was when he left the MTC! So it sounds like we are doing pretty well.
Any ways there we go 'S' Strikes and Sundays.

  1. You did very good. It is a little weird that I had to listen to my kids via a translator. Love you.
