So since a lot has happened. We love the warm days and a few times we have gone up to a local lake, and walked all the way around it. We had a lot of fun, yesterday we went back up and the frog eggs that we found have hatched and we saw lots and lots of tadpoles. The weather is increasingly getting warmer, and the sun didn't go down until after 11 o'clock last night! I am really starting to enjoy this warmer sunnier greener Norway.
The 17th of May was Norway's National day, It is like the USA version of July 4th. The people here really take it seriously- they all dress up in their national dress. They are called Bunads and they have a different type for each area of Norway. The people feel the love for their country. It was pouring rain and they all showed up for every parade. We were so frozen after my brothers and Skylee's parade that we didn't go to any other parades. We watched Abbot and Costello and then we got a call from the Elders. They were sitting in their apartment not able to go out and needed something to do. We invited them over and we played Settlers, Killer Bunnies, and Elder Peterson beat us all on Settlers even though it was his first time playing. Elder Sessions did really well too. We spent a lot of time playing games and had a lot of fun.
